We’ve streamlined the admission process for the MBA – Business Analytics online program. Follow these steps to apply.
Domestic Student Admission Requirements:
Following are the admission requirements for the ETSU MBA – Business Analytics online:
- Complete the online application
- Pay a $55 nonrefundable application processing fee
- Submit transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended. Unofficial transcripts are preferred for the initial application and should be uploaded during the submission process. If you are admitted, you will need to provide official transcripts (including proof of degree) by the end of your first semester.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA or higher
- GMAT scores of 450 or higher sent directly to ETSU from GMAT testing service
- GMAT waiver available if certain criteria are met. See below.
International Student Admission Requirements:
- Complete the online application
- Pay a $65 nonrefundable application processing fee
- Submit transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended. Unofficial transcripts are preferred for the initial application and should be uploaded during the submission process. If you are admitted, you will need to provide official transcripts (including proof of degree) by the end of your first semester.
- Bachelor’s degree (or U.S. equivalent) with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale
- English proficiency requirements: Only official score report accepted and must be received prior to transcript evaluation for U.S. equivalent GPA unless waived based on transcript. Transcript-based waivers not processed until transcripts with four years of education in an approved country received.
- TOEFL score of 550 (PBT), 79 (iBT)
- IELTS score of 6.5. Please arrange to have your official IELTS scores sent directly to ETSU Undergraduate Admissions.
- PTE score of 53
- Undergraduate degree from a U.S. institution
- Educated in English for minimum of four years at upper high school level or higher from a designated country listed here
- GMAT score of 450 or higher sent directly to ETSU from GMAT testing service
- GMAT waiver available if certain criteria are met. See below.
A GMAT waiver is available for both domestic and international students who meet one of the following conditions:
- Completion of another graduate degree
- Bachelor's degree from an AACSB-accredited business program with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Bachelor’s degree from a non-AACSB-accredited business program with a 3.5 GPA or higher
- At least three years of post-undergraduate professional, full-time work experience. Candidates requesting a GMAT waiver for possessing at least three years of post-undergraduate professional, full-time work experience need to submit a CV or resume with their application.
- For International Students: Transcript-based waivers will only be processed once we have received and reviewed transcripts that demonstrate four years of education completed in an approved country.

For the MBA – Business Analytics online program, you must complete 12 courses totaling 36 credit hours, including 24 credit hours of core courses, 9 credit hours of concentration courses, and a 3 credit hour Strategic Experience capstone course.
This course fulfills the Culminating Experience requirement in the MBA program.
